Dear Residents,
As the dust settles and results are officially posted, reality has set in that I will not continue on as your State Representative for the 42nd District. While I am disappointed by the loss, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve. As I stated many times throughout the campaign, “It is an honor to serve six years or six months.” As it turns out, the latter will be true. Regardless, it has been my pleasure to represent you in the Statehouse.
Looking forward, I pushed aside our differences and called Mike Moran to congratulate him on his win and to offer my full support as we transition. I am proud of the work accomplished over the past several months and believe it is in the best interest of all that this effort is not wasted.
A perfect example would be the electronic constituent issues management system implemented by my request to better serve you and the residents of the 42nd District. We are the first district in the state to use this electronic, state-built system whereby assuring every resident’s issue/request is treated with importance and professionalism.
Please note I will be serving as your State Representative through December 31st and would be honored to assist you in my final days in office. Do not hesitate to contact my Columbus office at 614-466-1177 or my Hudson home office at 330-653-3935.
Sincerely,

Richard Nero
State Representative
42nd Ohio House District
