MAKING EDUCATION A PRIORITY

My professional career has focused largely on education.  In the mid-90’s, I was employed at Cleveland State University in a very unique role –
one which had me dedicated to the advancement of the institution beyond what we were doing in the classroom.  In this role, I worked with alumni,
corporations, donors, and others to improve the university’s ability to deliver on its main goal, preparing students for the workplace. 

In this role, I received national attention, which eventually led to my career as an Industry Expert in Education for an international technology company. 
Over the past ten years, I have spent my time traveling from California to New York, Canada to Mexico, and internationally to locations like South Africa,
focusing on improving education operations to ultimately reduce their cost of doing business and allow them to reinvest their savings back into their
students and community at large. 

Our District is blessed with excellent schools, and I understand the complexities – and shortfalls – of the way our schools are currently funded. 

As your state representative, I will be committed to reducing the cost of education and developing alternative funding at the K-12 level while
working to reduce the overwhelming property tax burden on our residents.
